Study Seeks Local Feedback
Residents Encouraged to Take Online Survey and Attend Upcoming Public Meetings
Wednesday, October 26, 2022—Kalispell, Montana—As tourism growth in Kalispell and the Flathead Valley have increased in recent years, Discover Kalispell MT is asking for resident feedback in their community engagement study.
“It’s important to engage our community in conversations about these topics,” said Diane Medler, Executive Director, Discover Kalispell – the Kalispell Convention & Visitor Bureau. “At Discover Kalispell, we’re taking an intentional community-first approach that allows us to promote tourism as a key economic pillar while still protecting the culture, wild places and integrity of Kalispell and northwest Montana.”
There are two easy ways to get involved and let your voice be heard:

Attend a public meeting
- November 16, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Flathead Electric Community Room, 2510 U.S. Highway 2 E., Kalispell), Register here
- November 17, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Red Lion Hotel, 20 N. Main St., Kalispell), Register here
Individuals who take the survey and/or attend the public meeting will be entered to win an Apple iPad (256 GB, 9th generation, Wi-Fi).
“Both Kalispell and the Flathead Valley have grown and we anticipate more growth happening over the next five years,” said Lorraine Clarno, President/CEO of the Discover Kalispell Chamber. “The chamber is an advocate for smart growth, and we believe it is important to have community conversations to help develop and lead strategies for a diversified, balanced and healthy economy.”
