August 10, 2026—Kalispell, Montana

Discover Kalispell is pleased to announce that Chris O’Boyle is the new Group Sales Manager for the organization where he will focus on meetings, conventions, sporting events and group travel.

“Chris is a great addition to our team,” said Lorraine Clarno, President/CEO of the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce & Discover Kalispell. “He brings years of experience – including military service and client services – to Discover Kalispell. We’re looking forward to seeing him lead our sales efforts and bring more year-round groups to Kalispell.”

As Group Sales Manager, O’Boyle will lead efforts to drive sustainable year-round growth by booking meetings, groups and sporting events that generate overnight stays in Kalispell hotels, strengthening relationships with current partners and clients, identifying new group opportunities that are a fit for Kalispell, managing a CRM system, attending trade shows and more.

“While I’m new to the industry, I’m excited to hit the ground running,” said O’Boyle. “With my experience in innovation, teamwork, relationship building and collaboration, I’m looking forward to helping support Kalispell’s long-term economy through targeted group sales efforts. Kalispell has amazing things to offer groups of all kinds – from youth sports to veterans’ reunions – and I can’t wait to tell that story.”

O’Boyle has an Associate of Arts Degree from Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana. He brings 27 years of experience – including military, mortgage banking, management, sales and marketing – to this position.
