At Discover Kalispell, our staff offers a variety of services to help make your event, family vacation, conference, meeting, sports event, you name it, flow as smoothly as possible!
Examples of Our Services
RFP distribution
We work with hoteliers throughout Kalispell and are able to easily distribute your RFP to them, making it as seamless as possible. In addition, we can assist with gathering proposal information.
Location consultation
Selecting the right venue for your meeting is an important part of having a successful event. Whether you choose to see the venues in person or if you want to see them virtually, we offer impartial property and venue consultation to ensure that your event is matched with the appropriate venue.
Site tours and inspections
Some things you just need to see to believe. When you’re ready to visit Kalispell and consider it for your meeting destination, we’ll be ready to welcome you! From setting up a property site inspection to a mini-FAM through our mountain town, we’ll make sure you see everything you need to make a decision.
Welcome bags
In Montana, we’re known for being friendly folks. No matter where your meeting attendees are coming from, we’ll make sure they feel Montana’s warm hospitality by providing a welcome/registration bag, with goodies that may include a welcome letter, Discover Kalispell visitor guide, maps of Kalispell and brochures for various attractions that best suit your attendees.
Visitor information table
In addition to welcome bags, we’re happy to set up and/or staff a welcome table where visitors can pick up their packets, ask questions about things to do in Kalispell and help them make the most of their time in Big Sky Country. We can also provide volunteers to help with various aspects of your event.
Promotional materials
As you start promoting your meeting or convention, we’re prepared to help build attendance by providing content for use in your newsletters, publications, social channels and more. Available assets include videos, photos, sample itineraries and visitor guides.
Itineraries
If your attendees are coming to Montana for your event, chances are they may want to extend their stay before or after your meeting. Group Incentive
Discover Kalispell is excited to bring you and your guests to our mountain town! Our Group Incentive award was created to help fund new and/or growing meeting/group events that will strengthen Kalispell’s economy and create significant room nights at Kalispell hotels.
Bring Your Meeting
Home To Kalispell
Help us boost our local economy by referring to a group gathering and your effort will be rewarded. Are you a member of a group, business or organization that hosts trade shows, corporate functions, regional or state conferences, or even family reunions? If so, it’s time to Bring Your Meeting Home to Kalispell.
What to Expect
Earn a $25 gift card for every lead referred. Gift cards will be from a variety of Kalispell businesses. Referrals will be compiled monthly and gift cards will be distributed at the end of the month. Existing group business or leads already received by Discover Kalispell or a Kalispell hotel do not qualify.
When your referral results in business and a contractual agreement is signed by both parties (hotel & client), YOU receive $1 for every room night that is contracted. Checks will be distributed quarterly.
We will advocate in the best interest of your contact and you, by providing professional, reliable and friendly service.
Our services are free, there is NO catch, honest!
Rules
Valid dates to receive leads and definite contracts can happen anytime. Conference dates can be held in 2024 and beyond. Definite contractual agreements are when both hotel and client have signed a contract.
Excludes TBID hotel staff, owners and Kalispell Chamber staff.
Referral must be to one of the 23 Kalispell hotels.
Leads must be given to Dawn Jackson by either email, phone or by filling out the short referral form below. .
Any existing group business or leads already received by Discover Kalispell or a Kalispell hotel do not qualify.
A minimum of 20 actualized room nights is considered a group.
If cash cannot be accepted, an equivalent compensation will be provided.
If the incentive amount is $600 or over, the recipient must submit a W9 to the Kalispell Chamber.
