Winter’s abundant snowfall brings outdoor lovers to the region with easy access to downhill skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Kalispell Farmers Market

The Kalispell Farmers Market offers the freshest produce grown in the Flathead Valley and an array of locally-made goods. Every Saturday during the summer and fall from 9 am to 12:30 pm, find local farmers selling everything from meat and eggs, fruits and vegetables to baked goods to native plants and trees. Shop for handmade jewelry, pottery, soaps, paintings, and many more creations by the region’s talented artisans.

Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour

June through September

Years in the planning, the Northwest Montana History Museum launched its long-awaited walking tour in 2023. The Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour: The Iron Horse Snorted in the Garden of Eden runs 10 a.m. Mondays and 4 p.m. Fridays through September. Private tours also are available at other days and times.
