Set among the mountains of northwest Montana, Kalispell has recently welcomed several new offerings, including restaurants, wellness facilities and lodging. Here’s the latest on new businesses and developments for Kalispell, Montana.

RETAIL, RESTAURANTS AND CRAFT BEVERAGES

After a remodel, the KM Bar reopened in June 2026.

Casa Luna. The latest addition to Kalispell’s growing food scene, Casa Luna was opened by the owners of Casa Mexico. They offer tapas, craft cocktails, pan-seared fresh catches and upscale date-night dishes like salmon al escabecehe in an elegant, mirrored-bar setting.

The MOD Hive. A local makers market that has unique, handcrafted goods from local vendors. Find all your favorite arts and crafts in one space. This shop also features MOD Ohana Designs, your one-stop shop for customized engraved and screen-printed products, as well as graphic designs, for you or your business.

Skald Coffee. Serving single-origin coffee, breakfast burritos and gluten-free pastries, with seasonal markets, outdoor events and educational meetups.

Farmer Meets Foodie is looking to open a new location in Somers, just 10 minutes from Kalispell.

WELLNESS OFFERINGS

Glow Skin & Soul opened its studio location at 8 1st Street East, Suite 204 in downtown Kalispell, Montana. A holistic spa, they focus on skincare, lymphatic drainage and wellness events.

Aesthetica Medical Spa. Their new building is under construction at 685 Cascade Loop on Kalispell’s north end. Designed with growth, innovation and patient experience in mind, the new space will allow them to continue expanding advanced aesthetic and wellness services, while creating an elevated experience for Kalispell residents and visitors.

Montana Dental Spa opened a new office and day spa in July 2026 at 340 W. Center St. in Kalispell, Montana.

ACTIVITIES + MUSEUMS

Opened May 28, Wildtorium is the Flathead Valley’s first children’s museum.

A new addition in August 2026, the Flathead Sports Collective was created to give kids a year-round space to play, practice and have parties. This new 5,000 square-foot space serves kids ages 8-14.

KALISPELL AND NORTHWEST MONTANA EVENTS

In May 2026, the Spartan Race returned to the Flathead Valley at a new venue, Wrangler Springs Ranch.

LODGING

The historic Kalispell Grand Hotel in downtown Kalispell, completed a major lobby and main-floor historic restoration project in early 2026.

Hyatt Studios, Kalispell’s newest property, opened in June 2026.

The Millennium Hospitality Management Group purchased the Red Lion Hotel in June 2026.
