With Glacier National Park’s west entrance only 32 miles from Kalispell, it’s easy to access and explore the Crown of the Continent and all it has to offer year-round. And while Kalispell’s backyard park is a bucket list destination for many, there’s way more to see and do than just Glacier. Tour Hungry Horse Dam and take in the view of the reservoir and Flathead National Forest, go on a llama trek to a waterfall with Swan Mountain Llama Trekking, paddle the waters of Flathead Lake – the largest natural freshwater lake in the West – with Sea Me Paddle, stroll downtown and check out museums, boutiques and shops, or explore state parks in and around Kalispell.
There’s Way More to Northwest Montana than Glacier National Park.
