While Kalispell is a bustling mountain town in northwest Montana, it’s also within easy reach of two national wonders: Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. The largest gateway to Glacier National Park, Kalispell is located 32 miles from the park’s west entrance, while it sits 10 minutes north of Flathead Lake. Both are year-round destinations, with winter bringing guided kayaking excursions to the bays of Flathead Lake and snowshoe treks along Fish Creek in Glacier National Park.
