DAY 1
Shop your heart out
Embrace your inner cowgirl or cowboy at Western Outdoor – where over 3,000 pairs of boots are waiting – or The Toggery. Lean into vintage wares and cool finds at Honey Home & Design or Swappers. And for sweet Kalispell keepsakes, stop into Sage & Cedar. Be sure to stroll Main Street to peruse more local shops.
Embrace the outdoors
In Kalispell, the outdoors take center stage. Bundle up and get your steps in on the Parkline Trail or take a self-guided mural tour. Embrace the cold weather with a hike or snowshoe adventure at Lone Pine State Park or Foy’s to Blacktail Trail, both minutes from downtown Kalispell. Head to Glacier National Park during its least-visited time of year to enjoy the view from Apgar Village or a snowshoe adventure with Sea Me Paddle. For adrenaline-pumping fun, book a guided snowmobiling tour with Swan Mountain Snowmobiling. And if skiing is your style? Hit up Blacktail Mountain Resort or Whitefish Mountain Resort. And heck, if you stay two nights in a Kalispell hotel (be sure to book here), we’ll give you two free lift tickets to Blacktail.
Play indoors
Immerse yourself in Kalispell’s history at one of our three museums. Take a guided docent-led tour at the Conrad Mansion Museum to learn about the Conrad family – the founders of modern-day Kalispell, see art at Hockaday Museum of Art and learn about the Flathead Valley’s diverse past at the Northwest Montana History Museum.
Want to treat yourself? There’s no better place to do it than Kalispell. Keep the winter bugs away with a hydration treatment at LIVE Hydration Spa or unwind with a facial at Rejuvecare MedSpa.
Drinks, Dinner and Dessert
Kalispell’s culinary scene is not-to-be-missed and includes casual to higher-end offerings. Beer lovers will find tasty craft beverages at SunRift Beer Company or Bias Brewing. Make a night of it and rent an igloo at Bias for a cozy night. Catch live music at Sacred Waters Brewery and Brannigan’s Pub. Experience Kalispell like a local and dig into pizza at Moose’s Saloon or enjoy a burger and huckleberry milkshake at Norm’s News. If you’ve got a bigger group, hit up Freestone Restaurant for a menu that features local ingredients or practice your golf swing indoors at The Clubhouse, where you can also enjoy burgers and beer.
