The Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour is a well-researched and high-quality tour that showcases the evolution of Kalispell as a cultural, economic, and transportation hub of Northwest Montana’s Flathead Valley. As you take the tour, you will learn about different architectural styles and modern reuse, prominent citizens and early settlers, how a bison herd could buy a city block, and where to spot ghost signs. It is a fascinating way to explore and learn about the history of Kalispell.

The Kalispell Farmers Market offers the freshest produce grown in the Flathead Valley and an array of locally-made goods. Every Saturday during the summer and fall from 9 am to 12:30 pm, find local farmers selling everything from meat and eggs, fruits and vegetables to baked goods to native plants and trees. Shop for handmade jewelry, pottery, soaps, paintings, and many more creations by the region’s talented artisans.

October through December

Join one of the most significant quilt events in the northwest with displays of 200 quilts and live demonstrations.

The event will showcase some of the biggest, baddest, and wildest events on dirt. It will include a $5,000-to-win Western Montana Championship Automobile Demolition Derby, Montana State Tuff Truck Championship, and No-Limits Monster Truck Showdown. This event guarantees incredible performances.

Guests are invited to walk the darkened halls of the Conrad Mansion with a glimmer of candlelight to guide them. Once inside a room, guests will hear Conrad family ghost stories and other strange happenings that occurred in the Mansion. Who knows, maybe you’ll have your own paranormal experience! Ghost Tours is a family-friendly event; however, it is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
