Arts in the Park is an annual festival held in Kalispell’s historic downtown Depot Park. It is Flathead Valley’s most prestigious arts, crafts, and music event, featuring more than 80 artists and artisans from around the country. The festival offers a wide range of unique, high-quality handmade paintings, jewelry, ceramics, housewares, and other handmade items for sale.

Visitors can relax on the lawn, listening to live musicians and entertainers performing on the Depot Park Outdoor Stage. Additionally, there are vendors and food trucks from around the valley offering delicious food and beverages. This event is perfect for people of all ages and interests, so come along and have some fun from July 12th through 14th!

The Kalispell Farmers Market offers the freshest produce grown in the Flathead Valley and an array of locally-made goods. Every Saturday during the summer and fall from 9 am to 12:30 pm, find local farmers selling everything from meat and eggs, fruits and vegetables to baked goods to native plants and trees. Shop for handmade jewelry, pottery, soaps, paintings, and many more creations by the region’s talented artisans.

Brash Rodeo Summer Series 2024

Rodeo has been a part of Montana’s culture since the first cowboys arrived over 150 years ago. This events include bull riding, bronc riding, chute dogging, roping, barrel racing, and steer riding. Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour

June through September

The Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour is a well-researched and high-quality tour that showcases the evolution of Kalispell as a cultural, economic, and transportation hub of Northwest Montana’s Flathead Valley. The tour is approximately two hours long, covers about one mile that is level and ADA-accessible, and includes over two dozen stops at 30-plus highlighted buildings that tell the story of Kalispell’s history and people. As you take the tour, you will learn about different architectural styles and modern reuse, prominent citizens and early settlers, how a bison herd could buy a city block, and where to spot ghost signs. It is a fascinating way to explore and learn about the history of Kalispell.
