Blacktail Mountain Ski Area, located 28 miles southwest of Kalispell. This north-facing area features more than 1,000 acres of mostly intermediate runs, plus several miles of groomed Nordic skiing, perfect for a winter skiing biathlon. Blacktail Mountain is affordable and family-friendly with a cozy lodge for fireside lunch breaks and a full bar and grill on the upper level for après ski. The slopes situated high above Flathead Lake, offer spectacular views and consistent snow through mid-April.

Brash Rodeo Winter Series 2022-23

Rodeo has been a part of Montana’s culture since the first cowboys arrived over 150 years ago. This event includes bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer riding, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, calf roping, and chute dogging. Brash Rodeo is Western Montana’s longest-running series open rodeo.
