Located in St. Ignatius is the Three Chiefs Cultural Center (formerly know as The People’s Center). The center was rebranded as Three Chiefs Cultural Center to honor the three tribes that make up the Flathead Reservation: the Salish (Bitterroot Salish), Qlispe (Pend d’Oreilles) and Ksanka (Kootenai). The center includes a gift shop and a small museum gallery, and educational programs. Classes and activities are available year-round by appoinment and in the summer without appointments, from the first Saturday in June through September.
