Kootenai Falls

Kootenai Falls is a waterfall on the Kootenai River located just off U.S. Route 2. It is the largest undammed waterfall in the state and one of the largest waterfalls in the United States by flow rate. The falls are accessed by a hiking trail from the parking area next to the highway.

A world-class equestrian event that features beautiful horses and exceptional athletes competing in the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping from Beginner Novice to FEI 4-Star levels. This family-friendly, community event has been drawing crowds to the west valley Rebecca Farm venue since 2002, as one of the largest equestrian eventing competitions in the U.S. Enjoy the thrilling action and visit the bustling Shopping Fair, Food Court, and Kid Zone where the pony rides and other activities are free.

Montana High School Rodeo Finals

June 8-13, 2026

The Montana State High School Rodeo Finals are making Kalispell their home for the next four years. The finals are scheduled for June 8-13, 2026, at the Majestic Valley Arena. Approximately 200 of the state’s top high school rodeo athletes and their families from across Montana will be in the Flathead the first week in June. After state finals, the top four go on to represent Montana at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Rock Springs Wyoming. More information on the schedule can be found on the MHSRA website.
