Brash Rodeo Summer Series 2026

May – September

Rodeo has been an integral part of Montana’s culture since the arrival of the first cowboys over 150 years ago. Events include bull riding, bronc riding, chute dogging, roping, barrel racing, and steer riding. The Brash Rodeo is Montana’s longest-running series of open rodeos. The annual Rotary Great Bear Festival will be held at the O’Shaughnessy Outdoor Amphitheater at the Wachholz Center. Longview Lavender Distillation Workshop

June through August

Discover the enchanting world of lavender in our 2-hour workshop! The session starts with a hands-on tutorial on harvesting lavender and concludes with the production of lavender essential oil. Each participant will take home a 10ml bottle of lavender essential oil and a fresh bouquet of lavender that you picked. Please remember to wear outdoor garden clothes and appropriate shoes, as this is a hands-on experience. Workshops are held every Tuesday and Thursday from June through August 13.
