Brash Rodeo Summer Series 2026

June – September

Rodeo has been an integral part of Montana’s culture since the arrival of the first cowboys over 150 years ago. Events include bull riding, bronc riding, chute dogging, roping, barrel racing, and steer riding. The Brash Rodeo is Montana’s longest-running series of open rodeos. August 12-16, 2026

Experience the heritage and homestyle at the NWMT Fair. With over 100 years of tradition, the Montana Fair & Rodeo comes alive each year for a week in August. It features three nights of PRCA Rodeo action, outdoor music, down-home exhibits, carnival rides, and great food.

Longview Lavender Distillation Workshop

June through August

Discover the enchanting world of lavender in our 2-hour workshop! The session starts with a hands-on tutorial on harvesting lavender and concludes with the production of lavender essential oil. Each participant will take home a 10ml bottle of lavender essential oil and a fresh bouquet of lavender that you picked. Please remember to wear outdoor garden clothes and appropriate shoes, as this is a hands-on experience. Workshops are held every Tuesday and Thursday from June through August 13.

Glacier Park College Soccer Showcase

Get ready for the 2026 Glacier Park College Soccer Showcase at Legends Stadium in Kalispell!

The event features matches between Grizzly Women’s Soccer (MT), Mount Royal Cougars (AB, Canada), and Gonzaga University Bulldogs (WA). A Youth Soccer Clinic will be conducted by the coaches and players of Montana Griz Women’s Soccer. It is open to boys and girls aged 5 to 18 years old.

The Event at Rebecca Farm

July 15 – 19, 2026

A world-class equestrian event that features beautiful horses and exceptional athletes competing in the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping from Beginner Novice to FEI 4-Star levels. This family-friendly, community event has been drawing crowds to the west valley Rebecca Farm venue since 2002, as one of the largest equestrian eventing competitions in the U.S. Enjoy the thrilling action and visit the bustling Shopping Fair, Food Court, and Kid Zone where the pony rides and other activities are free.

The Downtown Kalispell Walking Tour is a well-researched and high-quality tour that showcases the evolution of Kalispell as a cultural, economic, and transportation hub of Northwest Montana’s Flathead Valley. As you take the tour, you will learn about different architectural styles and modern reuse, prominent citizens and early settlers, how a bison herd could buy a city block, and where to spot ghost signs. Great Bear Festival

The annual Rotary Great Bear Festival will be held at the O’Shaughnessy Outdoor Amphitheater at the Wachholz Center. This event’s title sponsor is TOYOTA and will feature a wide selection of cold beverages from Montana and beyond, including beers, ciders and wine. The festival promises family-friendly entertainment with lots of activities for kids, a free-throw contest with prizes, local music, and a new evening headline show brought to you by Envoy Mortgage featuring Tommy Edwards and Man & The Box.
