Forming Meaningful Connections

By Discover Kalispell on July 05, 2020

When it comes to meetings and conventions, one of the most important aspects of your event is creating meaningful connections for attendees, from networking to continuing education. And with a backdrop like Montana’s Flathead Valley—including wide-open spaces and plenty of places to allow for breathing room—Kalispell is well-positioned to help provide connections safely.

With numerous locations that offer indoor and outdoor spaces in Kalispell—from breweries to museums and warehouses to event venues—it’s easy to get the physical space you need, while still creating a Montana-inspired setting designed specifically to facilitate connections. While there are many places to choose from, here are five places that are ideal for forming Montana-inspired connections.

  • Ashley Creek Historic Venue at Snowline. A true events center, Ashley Creek Historic Venue sits just south of Kalispell and has 360-degree views of the Swan Mountains. Encompassing 30 acres, it allows for both outdoor events (including their onsite apple orchard and pumpkin patch) and indoor events inside their beautifully reconstructed building from 1939. The venue’s ambiance blends together touches of the West, as well as the area’s incredible agricultural and farm heritage. Take a virtual tour.
  • Sherman Lodge. A recently completed space, Sherman Lodge is ideal for a retreat close to downtown. With options to rent the whole space, you can have retreat attendees meet, sleep (in rooms named after nearby rivers) and socialize onsite. Plus, it’s located within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping.
  • Solciety Fitness. A truly flexible space, Solciety Fitness is perfect for small groups who are looking to incorporate wellness and healthy living into their meetings. They can provide classes onsite or offsite and offer healthy catering.
  • Northwest Montana History Museum. One of Kalispell’s most historic buildings, the museum is a nod to the area’s past and is located in the heart of downtown. Originally built as a school, meetings are held in the original classrooms. And with its location in Kalispell and outdoor spaces, it’s easy to incorporate food trucks into your event or meeting.
  • Sunrift Brewing Company. With indoor and outdoor space, the cozy Sunrift Brewing Company serves made-in-Kalispell beer and tasty food, complete with live music options and tastings.
