Combine the Best of Montana for an Epic Meeting

By Discover Kalispell on May 26, 2022

With comfortable accommodations, robust meeting venues and northwest Montana’s breathtaking landscapes, it’s easy to see why you may want to host your next meeting, convention or conference here. During late spring, summer and fall, the surrounding landscapes practically beckon you to get outside and make the most of long daylight hours, friendly folks and memory-making experiences. From outdoor wonders to cultural amenities and fun ways to incorporate Montana’s food scene, Kalispell is ready to host your next meeting.

Here are ways to include the best of Kalispell into your event:

  1. Outdoor spaces. Within Kalispell you’ll find Woodland Park, Snowline Acres, Herron Park and Bibler Gardens, each with their own distinct setting for breathing in Montana’s fresh mountain air. Farther out of town, Glacier National Park’s amphitheater at Apgar is another great way to incorporate the park, along with a special event specifically for your attendees.
  2. Cultural experiences. Kalispell is situated between two of Montana’s most special places—the Blackfeet Nation and the Flathead Indian Reservation. There are many ways to weave in that part of Montana’s heritage, including Native American Speaks, taking a day trip to the Bison Range, doing an indigenous cooking class with Indigikitchen, visiting Three Chiefs Cultural Center, touring Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana, walking the steps at Seli’s Ksanka Qlispe (formerly known as Kerr Dam) or booking an interpretive tour with Sun Tours.
  3. Dining options. While Kalispell has abundant dining options, one way to keep it easy is to bring lunch or dinner to you. Coordinate with local food trucks to bring a taste of Montana to your group or event location. Additional options include pre-arranging dining experiences with Kalispell restaurants and having attendees provide a voucher or serving boxed offerings for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many of our local restaurants and bakeries are happy to work with groups to provide easily accessible options.
